Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) at Connolly in Blanchardstown is a new paediatric healthcare service. It is part of the new model of care for children’s health services in Ireland... providing care as close to the patient's home as is clinically appropriate.
This facility includes Outpatients Clinics and Urgent Care services which is staffed by specialist paediatric staff, including nurses, doctors and health care professionals from the children’s hospitals in Dublin.
We treat children with minor injuries and illnesses that are not life-threatening and do not require a visit to the Emergency Department (ED).
Urgent Care Centre (by appointment)
On arrival at the Urgent Care Centre (UCC), it may be determined that your child's condition is best treated in a different facility. In this situation your child may not undergo medical assessment in UCC, however, the UCC team will help advise you of the best place for the most appropriate care and treatment of your child.
Please Note: A triage system is used in our Urgent Care Centre (UCC) to ensure that the patients with the most urgent needs are treated first - Waiting times can vary.
We treat children above 3 months old to the eve of their 16th birthday.
