World Sepsis Day is 13 September 2020 -Think Sepsis

World Sepsis Day which is marked on the 13th September every year was established in 2012 by the Global Sepsis Alliance, a not-for profit charity whose aim is to reduce the worldwide burden of sepsis.

With 49 million cases and 11 million deaths, Sepsis now kills more people than cancer and accounts for 1 in 5 deaths around the world according to a recent publication in the Lancet (2020).

We hope you will join us in the month of September to unite in the fight against sepsis.

Think Pink’ and wear pink clothes to mark the occasion.
