Staying safe during your visit

Following a few guidelines can help to keep us all safe from Covid-19 and other infectious illnesses.

General Advice

To help prevent infection, please do not visit the hospital if you are unwell or have been in contact with someone who may be infectious. This includes illnesses like measles, vomiting, diarrhoea, sore throat, flu or Covid-19.

Hand washing

We have hand sanitisers in all clinical areas and at entrances to the hospital. Please use them regularly when visiting the hospital, and each time you enter or leave the building.

Physical distancing

Follow the social distancing markings in the hospital when you see them.

A one way system is in place within the hospital corridors to help us all stay at least 2 metres apart. Please walk on the right in corridors where possible.

HSE Covid-19 resources

HSE has translated its advice on preventing the spread of COVID-19 into 36 different languages. These resources are available as both written information and in video format.
