Nursing Guidelines

These documents are created by Nursing Staff, caring for infants and children, with specific healthcare needs and are intended for use by Healthcare Professionals. Guidelines are reviewed by the Nurse Practice Committee at CHI and approved by the CHI Nursing Documentation Committee monthly.

Nursing practice guidelines

There are 2 sets of Nursing Practice Guidelines available at the links below:

CHI Nursing Practice Guidelines are guidelines which have been reviewed, and collaborated on across CHI and have been signed off by the Directorate Nurse Lead in CHI.

These are Nursing practice guidelines for use on all CHI sites. If you are on the Temple Street and Tallaght sites, local guidelines are still available on the QPulse system.

CHI Crumlin Nursing Practice Guidelines have only been approved for in CHI at Crumlin.

Important note

Work is in progress to collaborate and issue all guidelines as CHI Nursing Practice Guidelines.

Nursing careplans

These documents are created by Nursing Staff, caring for infants and children, with specific healthcare needs and are intended for use by Healthcare Professionals. Careplans are reviewed by the Nurse Practice Committee of CHI at Crumlin and approved by the Director of Nursing.
