Biography
Dr Hensey completed his General Paediatric Higher Specialist Training in Ireland before completing a clinical fellowship in The Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, with a specific focus on acute ambulatory paediatrics (Hospital in the Home), and clinical pharmacology.
He has a particular interest in postgraduate medical education and is currently a National Specialty Director of the Royal College of Physician's of Ireland, General Paediatric Basic Specialist Training Programme.
Research Interests
Dr Hensey is affiliated with RCSI and UCD and has broad research interests including paediatric inclusion health, health care utilization, and acute paediatrics. He has published, observational, epidemiological, and clinical studies. He is a member of GAPRUKI and has successfully partnered with the Children's Health Foundation.
