Biography
Dr Murtagh graduated from University of Galway in 2006. She completed her General Paediatric Higher Specialist Training in Ireland. She did additional training in community paediatrics and child protection at University Hospital of Wales.
She has a post graduate certificate in Sexual assault and forensic examination from UCD and regularly carries out forensic examinations at the Laurel's clinic CHI, Tallaght.
She also completed a Masters in Leadership from University College Cork and has a particular interest in mentoring Non Consultant Hospital Doctors, especially those who have recently arrived in Ireland.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her four children and organises an annual art festival at Rockfield House, Meath where she is focussed on promoting wellbeing through creativity.
