The Alders Unit - new name

St Clare’s and St Louise’s Unit at CHI at Connolly and CHI at Tallaght will now be known as The Alders Unit. The new name was selected from a number of suggestions collected from both staff and service users and is in line with our vision, mission and values statement and identity of Children’s Health Ireland. Alder trees are natural to Ireland and extremely resilient. We would like to thank members of our staff and our service users who contributed to the naming process.

There will be no change to the services provided at both sites. The name of the Laurel’s Clinic offering forensic / medical examinations at CHI at Tallaght will remain unchanged.
