Hospital school aims to:
offer an appropriate learning environment for children during their stay in hospital
provide a programme of educational activities, in line with the school curriculum
provide equal opportunities and access to the curriculum for all children
help overcome disruptions to children’s educational development
help children get ready for Junior and Leaving Certificate programmes
provide an exam centre for state examinations
provide links with the community through regular creative workshops
Our schools are fully accredited and are funded by the Department of Education and Skills.
